You talk. We do the rest.

No writing. No typing. No blank pages. If you can tell a story over coffee, you can do this.

1

Answer out loud

You receive a private link — it opens right in your phone or computer's browser. No app, no password. We ask 52 thoughtful questions, one at a time, about your childhood, family, memories, values, and lessons. Press a button and just talk. A family member can sit with you and help.

2

We write your story

Your spoken answers become the foundation of a polished, beautifully written life story — organized into chapters, in your own voice. You never type a word.

3

Review, approve, share

You read your story before it's finalized and tell us what to change. Once you approve it, share it with family through a private link — or hold it in your hands as a hardcover book.

Our promises

Weeks, not a year

Other services drip one question a week for 52 weeks — and most people never finish. Our guided sessions get the whole story told in about two weeks, at your pace.

Yours forever

One price, one time. Your story and recordings are always downloadable, and your book is never held behind a renewal fee. Ever.

Your words, your voice

We write it the way you told it. Every name, every detail, every turn of phrase — you read and approve everything before it's final.

Perfect for parents, grandparents, milestone birthdays, retirement gifts, Mother's Day, Father's Day — or any family that wants to preserve its memories before they fade.

From spoken memory to written story

You talk the way you'd tell it over coffee. Here's the kind of transformation we make — sample shown.

🎙 What you say

"Oh, the bakery… my father opened it in, I want to say '61? Every morning before school I'd help him carry the flour sacks up from the cellar. He never said much, but he'd always save me the first roll of the day. Still warm. I can smell it right now, honestly."

📖 What your family keeps

In 1961, my father opened the bakery that would shape my childhood. Before school each morning, I carried flour sacks up from the cellar alongside him. He was a man of few words — but every day, without fail, he saved me the first roll of the morning, still warm from the oven. Sixty years later, I can still smell it.

Every story is reviewed and approved by you before it's final — your words, your voice, your details.

"Two hundred years from now, will anyone know who you were?"
The question that started Everstory

Photos fade. Newspapers get thrown away. Social media disappears. But a story — written down, kept in one place, passed from your children to theirs — outlives all of it. Your grandmother's voice, your father's advice, the life you actually lived. That's what we help you keep.

Questions, answered

I'm not a writer. Is this really for me?

Especially for you. You never write a word — you answer questions by talking, the way you'd tell a story to a friend. We handle all the writing, and you approve everything before it's final.

Is my story public?

No. Your story is private — only the people you choose can access it. Your finished story lives on a private digital keepsake page, and you decide who receives the link and who gets to read it. Nothing is ever shared or published without your permission.

How do I actually answer the questions?

You get a private link that opens in the browser on your phone, tablet, or computer — no app to install, no password to remember. Each question appears one at a time; you press a button and talk. If you'd rather not do it alone, a son, daughter, or grandchild can sit with you and help.

Can I make changes to my story?

Yes. You review the full story before anything is finalized, and your edition includes up to two rounds of edits — tell us what to fix and we'll fix it. Nothing prints or ships until you approve it.

Can I buy this as a gift for my mom or dad?

Yes — it's one of the most meaningful gifts you can give. You purchase it, and we guide your parent through everything from there. The Told-For-You edition even includes a personal interview, so they truly just have to talk.

How long does it take?

Most people finish their story over a few relaxed sessions in one to two weeks. There's no deadline — go at your own pace.

What if I start and don't finish?

Nothing bad. There's no subscription clock, no renewal fee, and no deadline. Your recordings and story stay yours, and you can pick it back up any time.

What does "founding member" mean?
